Machine Learning models & AI tools

Machine Learning models & AI tools

Data-driven coating monitoring system based on Machine Learning models and AI prediction tools of future performance on a specific system.

Our monitoring services integrates the processes of selection and characterization of the anticorrosive coating with installation, production, and operation requirements, being the ideal choice for those applications where coating durability is required to meet the rest of the design criteria of desired service life (20-25 years). This monitoring takes place throughout the coating life cycle (SF 25+).

  • Coating characterization (SF C+):

We test the selected coatings using EIS and FTIR at different application variables inside and outside the specification window. That way, we obtain the EIS/FTIR spectra database, representing the digital twin of the coating in every possible situation.

  • Coating Installation (SF I+):

Together with traditional inspection methods, EIS/FTIR measurements are performed on-site during the coating installation job of a selected project. The comparison with the previously generated spectra (SF C+) ensures coating and application quality; and will predict, identify and mitigate potential application problems.

  • Coating Evaluation (SF E+):

Periodic EIS/FTIR evaluations are carried out on-site with portable devices during the service life of the coating. These evaluations will allow us to compare data with the coating digital twin and populate your spectrum database helping improve customized machine learning predictive performance models.

We combine the initial coating certification (SF C +) with a correct installation certification (SF I +) and a regular evaluation of the coating's condition (SF E +). With this approach, we can provide a complete inspection and evaluation package that maximizes your knowledge and control of the state of your protective coatings.
